A 24'x105' silage tarp will cover all beds and paths for 2 weeks in hot weather, 3 weeks in cooler, to kill weeds. Beds are covered in three groups - a small 40' group on March7-Apr 1, a 300' group on July 15-Aug1, and the rest on Jun 1-June 15. One way is to layout the annual garden in a 24'x105' rectangle with four beds 3'x100', but other layouts are possible if the silage tarp is cut into smaller pieces. Weed fabric can be precut to apply in summer to each bed.54' Lettuce (July15-Oct25) (Aug1 in late yr) (100g Water) (Interplant clover 1/3 thru) till spring greenhouse only

To fertilize 1400', prepare 4 drums (55g) of compost tea by slowely filling them with 50% household compost and 50% water, or grass/grain/garden cuttings. Add a handful of leaf mold, cover and wait 3-12 months before using. Mix 1 aged gallon with 100 of water and 1 gallon of freshly brewed 2 day microbial tea (1 gallon water, 8 grams leaf mold, 4g salt, 40 grams rock dust, and 25 grams cooked and blended potato. Double this (7-8 drums) when adding in orchard and greenhouse.
