Each of the five seasons has five fortnights, and each fortnight is divided into 3 Ko, or Pentads(5 day weeks) on Earth, and into 5 Ko on Mars.

(To use these in any given fortnight, reorder the list to begin with the same element rulership of the fortnight. For instance, use the order listed below for a fire fortnight, but for a wood one start with wood and end with fire.)

Fire + Wood: Fire rises from Wood, the blaze consumes the branch; stoke the hearth, scribe bold visions, sear the path—yet bind the flame, lest it devours the grove 
Fire + Metal: Fire masters Metal, the forge bends the unyielding; melt the ore, temper wrath, shape the steel—yet halt the heat, lest the blade warps frail 
Fire + Earth: Fire births Earth, ash crowns the silence; char the waste, pile the dust, warm the stone—yet loose the ember, lest soot cloaks the seed

Wood + Metal: Wood meets Metal, the axe carves the grain; hew the trunk, trim the wild, hone the craft—yet stretch not far, lest the edge bites too deep
